Bagged materials need to be securely and safely stacked on pallets in a warehouse, in transit or while being loaded and unloaded to avoid damaged product and extra labor to re-stack the material, clean up spills, and in the worst situation personal injury.Many options are available to secure bagged product on a pallet; ranging from applying extra shrink wrap, spraying adhesives to lock the bags together and using embossed bags.
Embossed bags with a textured pattern running down the length of the bag are the easiest method to use and do not require extra steps in the packaging /palletizing process. The textured pattern helps "lock together" the bags once they are palletized.
The embossed texture works best on heavy bags such as ice melt, sugar, minerals, chemicals, and fertilizers. Many bagged products that are exported use embossed bags to reduce shifting during the long transit. Embossed bags made with PolyPaks Rhino or V-Zuh film have the following features:
